The League of the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League is the 60th edition of the UEFA Champions League, European clubs biggest competition organized by UEFA. The final will be played on June 6, 2015 at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany.The champion will represent the UEFA at the Club World Cup FIFA 2015.
A total of 77 teams from 53 UEFA associations of 54 are expected to compete the 2014-15 edition of the Champions League (the exception is Liechtenstein, which does not organize a local championship). The ranking is based on coefficient of associations of the country that is used to determine the number of participants from each association.
The champion of the League of 2013-14 UEFA Champions receive an additional job as defending champion, if he failed to qualify for their national championship (due to the constraint that the association may not have more than four teams vying for the competition. If the current champion of the association is 1-3 and end the national championship outside the top four, he inherits the position of fourth-place).
